The RDC Operations
Lead
will be responsible for the shipping and receiving functions within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) with a focus on safety and customer service. The RDC Operations Lead will lead and influence the day-to-day warehouse operations, display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the RDC team, including Hubbers, contractors and 3PL operators.

• Serve as the primary point of contact at the RDC for all operational inquiries, issues, and concerns
• Oversees and coordinaties the day-to-day operations of the RDC including:
• Scheduling and assigning work to Hubber’s, contractors and/or 3PL operators
• Monitoring progress of daily workload, and
• Ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Refines existing processes and procedures to increase their effectiveness and efficiency while enhancing the RDCs’ internal capacity
• Ensures that operational activities remain on-time and within budget
• Monitors KPIs and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement
• Collaborates with Ops teams, other RDC’s, contractors, and 3PL operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Addresses customer complaints to resolution or escalates (TLC’s and Customers) to the appropriate level in a professional and timely manner
• Identifies and resolves any operational bottlenecks
• Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
• Optimizes Work Processes: Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, witha focus on safety and continuous improvement
• Manages Ambiguity:Operating effectively, even when things are not certain,or the way forward is notclear
• Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
• Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

• 5+ years of applicable work experiences with a heavy focus on operations and warehouse management
• Supervisor or management experience required
• Experience with KPI management
• BS/BA in Logistics, Business administration or related field preferred

• Demonstrated people skills including influencing skills, active listening and the ability to communicate effectively to diverse groups
