Compensation& Benefits
- Pay: $24–$45 per hour ($24–$29 base, up to $2,000 monthly bonuses – ~ $12 per hour, up to $2,000 quarterly bonuses – ~ $4 per hour, retention bonuses up to $2,500 per year)

The dental assistant (surgical assistant) at Nuvia Dental Implant Center plays a crucial role in assisting our surgeons and restorative dentists so they can focus on providing patients with a premium, safe, and memorable service. Dental assistants have full scope of responsibility, from setup, surgery, impressions, X‑rays to ordering and patient communication.
Responsibilities- Live company core values
- Take impressions and pour molds
- Take patient photos
- Perform X‑rays and cone beams
- Set up appointments in scheduling platform
- Set up and take down operation rooms, ensuring no one needs to leave the surgery room
- Place orders for basic and implant supplies
- Adjust and reline prostheses
- Assist the doctor during a variety of surgical implant procedures
- Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative instructions
- Sterilize and perform daily cleaning
- Manage patient expectations and deliver the best patient care in the industry
- Registered Dental Assistant with all proper certifications
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Self‑starter who works well as part of a team
- Patient‑centric with good communication skills
- Outgoing and empathetic
- Flexible and a quick learner
- Great organizational skills and high office aptitude
- Morning huddle: Review daily schedule & collaborate on patient needs.
- Morning surgery prep: Prepare instruments & patients, meet surgeon & CRNA, assist with intubation and surgery.
- Lab deadlines: Work efficiently to meet tight prosthetic deadlines (≈ 24 hrs).
- Overcoming obstacles: Troubleshoot equipment, patient delays, and concerns; maintain smooth flow and top‑tier experience.
- Circular tasks: Ordering supplies, sterilization, compliance, lab requests.
- End of day: Complete surgery reports, review charts, lab cases, and implants for next day plan.
