Dental Hygienist - Linglestown

Linglestone Family Dentistry is looking for a hygienist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care to our patients. This can be achieved through educating our patients on the needs of their oral health.

Each patient’s oral health plan is different and by treating each patient as an individual and partnering with them to create their plan through patient education and proper diagnostic tools, you only increase your opportunity to earn more.

Currently we are offering a $4,000 signing bonus for all full time hygiene positions as well.

• Partnering with doctors in improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day
• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments and ensure their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
• Educate and treat periodontally diseased patients
• Apply preventive materials to the teeth such as fluoride and sealants
• Take yearly radiographs of patients
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
• Tear down and sterilize treatment rooms
• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Document patient dental history and updates in Open Dental, as well as overall health and medication history
• Follow all OSHA guidelines and regulations
• Keep a clean, sanitized work area, and ensure the equipment is used properly to prolong the lifespan of the machines
• Interact with Front Desk, Dental Assistants, and other Hygienists daily, in a cooperative and friendly manner

• Full Time 30+ Hours/Part time available

• Ability to earn $100,000 plus per year (Includes Bonuses)
