DescriptionThe Design Manager will lead key projects from conceptual phases through design, pre-construction, construction administration, and commissioning/close-out. Responsibilities include overseeing the design team, developing client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, within budget, on schedule, and to quality standards. The role also involves identifying new project opportunities and providing high-level solutions for projects, including master planning and site evaluation.
Responsibilities- Lead design/build project development from concept to completion.
- Develop design documentation aligned with company and project objectives.
- Foster client relationships and seek new project opportunities.
- Oversee design teams and consultants, ensuring quality and conformance.
- Manage project budgets and schedules.
- Support project presentations and technical reviews.
- Participate in project troubleshooting and field reviews.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience.
- Engineering degree; professional registration preferred.
- Proven leadership in multi-discipline design teams.
- Knowledge of engineering and architectural disciplines.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical skills.
