Cardiology Physician

Location: Danville
We have partnered with a large health system in the Northeast to identify a System Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging.

This is a new role for the system and will work closely with the System Chief of Cardiology to lead the Imaging Services of their 3 regions. Each region has a leader that would report to this person.

System-wide, there are 69 Cardiologists, 12 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, 12 Vascular Surgeons as well as 82 Advanced Practitioners. This role would be instrumental in leading research, teaching, and leading teams of physicians and advanced practitioners.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases

• Board Certification in Echocardiography

• Active, or able to obtain, Medical Licensure in Pennsylvania

• DEA and State Controlled Substance License

• Established record of clinical leadership in Cardiovascular Imaging, including Structural TEE

• Established record of administrative leadership

• Established record of academic, research and educational pursuits

• Additional training and/or Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology, Advanced Cardiac Imaging (Cardiac MRI/CT) may also be beneficial

• Masters Preparation in Research, Statistics, Public Health or Management may be beneficial

This role would have around 50-60% clinical workload and the rest split between administrative and research time.
