Provide overnight coverage for a 24‑bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CCU) that services advanced cardiac and surgical patients. Key duties include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex cardiac and critical‑care patients.
- Perform and interpret invasive hemodynamic monitoring, including temporary mechanical circulatory support (Impella, Centrimag, IABP, etc.).
- Coordinate care with cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced heart‑failure specialists, intensivists, perfusionists, and advanced practice providers.
- Participate in a 24/7 CT surgery and ECMO support structure.
- Engage in high‑quality, patient‑centered care and continuous clinical innovation.
- Contribute to clinical research in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and critical care.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine.
- Proficient in temporary mechanical circulatory support and hemodynamic management.
- TEE proficiency preferred but negotiable.
- Experience or interest in pulmonary hypertension and clinical research valued.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Indiana.
