UPMC, a leading integrated global nonprofit health enterprise and one of the nation's premier healthcare networks, is expanding its team at UPMC Northwest in Seneca, Pennsylvania. The Pulmonology Department is seeking a driven and dedicated pulmonologist to join the UPMC Northwest Comprehensive Lung Center.
Candidates must be fellowship trained in Pulmonary and BC/BE. Interventional pulmonology skills would be an added plus. The physician will be expected to participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents. The clinical scope:
- Join an established practice with the support of APP staff
- Pulmonary operates five days/week. Pulmonary inpatient Hospital Consult service operates seven days/week
- Pulmonary procedural work:
Diagnostic bronchoscopies - Pulmonary Clinic has all types of pathology (e.g., Asthma, COPD, ILD, CF, Lung Nodules/Masses, PH)

UPMC Northwest in Seneca, PA, has 96 private rooms, including 30 that can be converted for semi-private occupancy, yielding as many as 126 beds. A one-story, 28-bed behavioral health building, part of the UPMC Behavioral Health Network, adjoins the hospital via an enclosed walkway. A nine-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and a 16-bed transitional care unit are also located adjacent to the hospital.
