IU Health Ball Memorial is hiring! Join our compassionate Hospitalist team as Nocturnist in Muncie, IN!
Key Responsibilities- Take calls from units and new admissions from emergency department or as direct admit
- Average admissions is eight per shift
- Perform direct patient care with strong subspecialist support
- Services include hospital admissions, consultations, and cross coverage
- Full-Time, Nights 7 pm- 7 am; 7 on/14 off schedule
- 100% inpatient, two nocturnists per shift
- IU Health Ball Memorial onsite, and admits to Jay Hospital via telemed.
- Open ICU: hospitalist manage pressors, but not intubations; procedures not mandatory, but opportunity to provide if desired; IM residents run codes, rapids
- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
- Visa sponsorship available; H-1B
- Experience, at least one year in open ICU
