Position Details:
Patient Population: OB and GYN (60% low-risk OB, 40% high-risk OB, 10% GYN)
Setting:
Hospital call
Responsibilities: OB call coverage including deliveries and GYN surgeries
Required Procedures:
Routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps, C-sections (including complicated)
VBACs
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
High-risk OB management (abruptions, breech, multiple births)
OB ultrasounds (Level I, screening, and interpretation)
Cervical cerclage, chromopertubation, diagnostic and operative laparoscopies, LOAs
Surgical gynecology (open procedures including ectopic, cystectomy, ovary removal)
EMR System:
Epic
Support Staff:
Laborist, midwife, hospital nursing staff
Days Per Month:
As scheduled (1:6 weekday and 1:6 weekend call)
On-Call/Weekends:
Yes 24-hour weekday and 48-hour weekend call
Submission Requirements:
Board Certification REQUIRED
Pennsylvania Medical License REQUIRED
Advanced Fetal Monitoring REQUIRED
OB/GYN procedural experience REQUIRED
