Exciting Locum Physician Opportunity in Interventional Radiology Windber, PA

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform light IR procedures, including biopsies of the thyroid, lung, liver, and renal organs under CT or US guidance.
- Conduct drainages such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tubes, and cyst aspirations.
- Manage lumbar punctures, both diagnostic and myelograms.
- Execute arthrograms and joint injections for knees, elbows, hips, ankles, and shoulders.
- Handle a daily volume of approximately 90-100 cases, delivering 60-70 wRVUs per shift.
- Work primarily onsite in a hospital environment, utilizing modalities like XR, CT, MR, and fluoroscopy for subspecialty cases.
- Valid medical license to practice radiology in Pennsylvania.
- Proven experience in interventional radiology and proficiency with advanced imaging modalities.
- Strong procedural skills, including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms.
- Excellent communication and patient management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Skills:
- Prior experience in a locum or hospital-based position.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Additional certifications in radiology or interventional procedures.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of specialized training in radiology, with Board Certification preferred.
- At least 2 years of post-residency experience in interventional radiology.
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025.
- On-site presence 1-2 weeks per month.
- Travel and licensure reimbursements when applicable.
- Certification in ACLS or BLS is preferred.
