Radiation Oncologist

This large hospital operating as part of a health system in Sayre, Pennsylvania is seeking a Radiation Oncology physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity starting ASAP. The clinician will provide daytime outpatient and clinic-based care, managing approximately 20 patients on treatment per day alongside consults and follow-up visits. This Monday through Friday role features a structured schedule with no call or weekend requirements.

• Large hospital operating as part of a health system providing dedicated radiation oncology services
• Structured on-site outpatient and clinic-based environment
• Staffed by 1.5 physicians with no APP support
• Adult patient population

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and clinic-based radiation oncology services Monday through Friday
• Manage approximately 20 patients on treatment per day
• Conduct 10 new consults per week
• Conduct 15 follow-up visits per week
• Complete all patient documentation through EPIC EMR

Shift & Schedule

• ASAP - Ongoing (minimum 3 months, full-time)
• Day shift
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No call or weekend requirements

Qualifications

• Board certification in Radiation Oncology required
• Active state medical license required
• Prescriptive authority required
• SBRT experience required
