The unit is a newly established service with an anticipated daily census of 10 to 14 patients.
Aboutthe Facility Location
Philadelphia is a walkable city with efficient public transportation, including an Airport Line train connecting the airport to the city center. The city offers a range of distinct neighborhoods, each with cultural, culinary, and historical experiences. Notable attractions include the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia's Magic Gardens, and the Delaware River waterfront at Penn's Landing, which draws over 2 million visitors annually.
Clinicians on assignment may explore the city through historical walking tours, food tours, street art tours, and evening tours that blend entertainment with historical insight.
The clinician will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents during day shift hours, with a daily census ranging from 10 to 14 patients. Responsibilities include evaluating newly admitted patients, conducting daily follow-up visits, and assessing mood and affect, suicidal or homicidal risk, psychosis or hallucinations, anxiety symptoms, sleep and appetite, and medication response and side effects.
