Location: Township of East Hempfield
Position
Anesthesiologist opening at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono (formerly Pocono Medical Center) in East Stroudsburg, PA.
LocationEast Stroudsburg, PA – scenic Pocono Mountains region.
Responsibilities- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Provide medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and manage emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patients’ physiological condition
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMC and FLEX certification
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Current medical licensure
Salary: $300 per hour.
