Job Title and Location
Per diem anesthesiologist opportunity at Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center (PASC), East Stroudsburg, PA.
DescriptionPocono Ambulatory Surgery Center opened in 1986 as an Ophthalmic Surgery Center and expanded to a multi‑specialty facility in 1990. Our care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice, supporting, respecting, and helping them deliver care excellence.
Responsibilities- Assist in directing and coordinating activities of the Anesthesia Department.
- Medical management of patients rendered unconscious or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other procedures.
- Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments.
- Obtain and verify patient consent.
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitor patient physiological condition.
- Perform clinical interventions as needed.
- M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
- Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
- Current physician licensure.
- ECFMG and FLEX eligibility.
W‑2: $200/hr – 1099: $225/hr.
