This role involves providing emergency medicine coverage in a shift-based setting, with responsibilities including responding to codes and managing patient care for approximately 21 patients per shift.
Key Duties- Providing patient care during 12-hour day or night shifts (8 am - 8 pm or 8 pm - 8 am)
- Responding to emergency codes as needed
- Supporting a high-volume emergency department environment
- Managing patient care with APP support available from 2 pm to 10 pm
- Current ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
- Ability to handle a fast-paced emergency setting
- Workload includes no more than 5-6 consecutive shifts
- Comprehensive support provided, including credentialing, housing, travel arrangements, and malpractice coverage
- Access to an online portal for assignment details and time entry
- Dedicated recruiter manages all logistical details
