** Woodturning

* Minimum Requirements:

*** Earned Master’s degree in Woodworking, Furniture Design, Sculpture, or a closely related Visual Arts field or significant experience in the field.
* Working knowledge of woodworking equipment, especially lathes.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Teaching experience with “between center” or spindle turning and “bowl” or faceplate turning.
* Experience in higher education, preferably with community college students and Pedagogy.
* Demonstrated ability to teach Woodturning effectively.
