The District seeks candidates to fill a Special Education Assistant at Bradford Woods Elementary School, effective date to be determined.

A Special Education Assistant will provide support services for identified students assigned to select regular and/or special education environments and will work collaboratively with Inclusion Facilitators, Special Education Teachers and Regular Education Teachers to provide students with academic, emotional, social, behavioral, and physical support.

Special Education Assistant positions work 7 hours per day during the school year only.

Starting Hourly rate will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The rate for the  School Year is $20.10/Hour with a comprehensive individual benefit package available.

• 48 credits of a post‑secondary education, Associate Degree, or successful completion of the Para Pro Assessment.

• Child Abuse History Clearance
• PA Criminal Record Check
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
• Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre‑employment Physical and TB Test.
