Salary: $28,800 - $46,000 per year

• Work 40 hours per week for 44 weeks per year (including 42 weeks of work and ten paid holidays)
• Teach the class from 12:00–3:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
• Collaborate with CPI instructors and students within the preschool classroom
• Oversee classroom operations and manage staff, providing direct supervision to assigned classroom roles
• Implement curriculum and conduct child assessments
• Engage parents through monthly home visits and support them as the child’s advocate
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policy
• Encourage family engagement in program governance through center parent meetings and policy council participation
• Assist families in identifying resources and achieving their goals
• Support families during transition from the current program to the next environment for the child
• Implement PBIS strategies within the Pyramid Model framework
• Implement Al’s Pals to support social‑emotional development
• Develop professional relationships with co‑workers, Early Intervention Providers, district personnel, and community partners
• Collaborate with co‑workers in planning classroom activities, parent trainings, and field trips
• Adhere to program guidelines and requirements

• Associate degree in early childhood or related field with coursework equivalent to a major in early childhood education, or a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (PK‑4), Early Childhood, or a related field with equivalent coursework
• Active Pre‑Kindergarten‑4 (PK‑4) certification; teachers with current PA certification may add PK‑4 via required tests
• Experience working with children and families
• Required clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
