• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to design and implement appropriate services for students.
• Classroom Leadership – Provide guidance, leadership, and direction within the classroom.
• Teach Multiple Subjects – May be responsible for teaching multiple subject areas, depending on the needs of the students.
• Maintain Student Confidentiality – Ensure student confidentiality by adhering to agency policy, FERPA, HIPAA privacy regulations, and confidentiality standards.
• Track Student Progress – Monitor and assess student development, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to support student success.
• Manage Challenging Behaviors – Implement behavior support plans and manage challenging behaviors as needed.
• Support Collaborative Environment – Work closely with paraprofessionals, support staff, and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Advocate for Students – Ensure compliance with educational laws and advocate for the rights and needs of students with disabilities.
• Create Positive Learning Space – Build a positive, engaging classroom environment where every student feels supported and can thrive.

• Must hold an active PA teaching certification, such as a Private Academic Certificate, or a Pennsylvania Instructional Certification.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
