Position: Basic Skills Educational Assistant (Part-time/No benefits)

Location: Bridge Valley Elementary School, Central Bucks School District

Availability: 2025/2026 School Year

Compensation: $18.52 p/hr

Hours: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM (160 days per school year)

Description: Perform a wide variety of duties in support of the educational program within the classroom, including assisting students with reading, writing, and/or math. Duties may include lunch/recess duty and other assignments as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with reading, writing, and math activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff as a team member.
• Exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Support a flexible, patient, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years related college coursework or Associate degree. Submit diploma or transcript with application.
• Demonstrated patience, enjoyment working with children, and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
