Work Schedule

7 hours per day, including a 30‑minute, duty‑free, paid lunch (Elementary – approximately 8:30 am to 3:30 pm).

• Level 1: $16.34 (minimum qualifications / willing to obtain certificate of competency)
• Level 2: $23.00 (possesses a valid PA or other state teaching certificate)

• Single‑level coverage, 12 days of paid leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.

Education Administration Programs

Assists the classroom teacher in a variety of settings by performing assigned duties related to the learning process such as assembling and preparing instructional materials and monitoring students. May assist with translation and/or communication using second‑language skills when possible. Tasks include but are not limited to performing instructional activities planned by the teacher, giving the teacher feedback on student’s progress, and assisting in clerical duties as assigned.

Under the direction/supervision of the teacher / Principal, and general supervision of the Director of Special Education and Student Services.

• Pennsylvania Paraprofessional certificate.
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Alternative qualifications deemed appropriate.
