Autistic Support at Lancaster-Lebanon IU13

The teachers of exceptional students are responsible for planning and implementing an effective program of instruction based on students’ Individual Education Programs (IEP’s). Teachers report to their respective Program Supervisor.
Qualifications- Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Certification
Required:
Active PA Certification in Special Education - Experience
Required:
None required; several years of experience preferred
Physical Requirements
The strength and ability to lift and/or assist in lifting students ranging in age from pre-school to twenty-one and any assistive appliances, for example: wheelchair. The ability to physically restrain students in emotional stress by using the Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI), Safe Crisis Management (SCM) or Quality Behavior Supports (QBS) method, depending on program need, for which training will be provided.

- Schedule: 7.00 Hours/Day (8:30 am-4:00 pm) Monday-Friday 190 Days/Year
