Overview
Full-time Teacher of Special Education-Floater:
Center-based Emotional Support at Lancaster-Lebanon IU13. Earn up to an additional $8,000 this school year.
Schedule:
7.00 Hours/Day (7:30 am - 3:00 pm), Monday-Friday, 190 Days/Year. Minimum Annual Salary: $65,001. Earn up to an additional $8,000 this school year.
The teachers of exceptional students are responsible for planning and implementing an effective program of instruction based on students’ Individual Education Programs (IEP’s). Teachers report to their respective Program Supervisor.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree and active PA certification in Special Education is required.

The strength and ability to lift and/or assist in lifting students ranging in age from pre-school to twenty-one and any assistive appliances, for example: wheelchair. The ability to physically restrain students in emotional stress by using the Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI), Safe Crisis Management (SCM) or Quality Behavior Supports (QBS) method, depending on program need, for which training will be provided.
