To strengthen the Business Administration and Energy and Environmental Engineering degree programmes and the Institute of Energy and Environment, the School of Management is seeking a
Professor UAS in Energy Economics (80-100 %)
Teaching at Bachelor’s, Master’s and continuing education level in economics and energy
Active participation in the Institute’s applied research and development activities
Acquisition, management and implementation of research projects in the fields of energy and economics, in particular in cooperation with industrial and institutional partners
Contribution to the dissemination and exploitation of research results through publications and conference presentations
Participation in the interdisciplinary education of students in business administration and engineering
Selection criteria
PhD or significant research experience equivalent to a doctoral degree
Research experience and sound knowledge of Swiss academic stakeholders in the field of energy economics
Excellent understanding of the operation and regulation of energy markets
Good understanding of economic stakeholders in the Swiss energy sector
Ability to teach at different levels (Bachelor’s, Master’s and continuing education)
Autonomy and initiative in acquiring and managing research projects, including the preparation of funding proposals and the management of internal and external partnerships
Native speaker of French or German, with very good command of the second language and of English
