Buxmont Academy is seeking a creative and caring digital arts teacher for a part-time opening at our campus in Woodlyn, PA. Buxmont Academy has six campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Our teachers and counselors work together to build a healthy community environment for our students. Join us in this rewarding role where excellence and relationships are at the core of everything we do.

Hours are Monday through Friday, up to 29 hours per week. Salary is $25/hour. Buxmont Academy's benefits include 401K retirement plan; free professional development including ACT 48 Credit;

Qualified candidates will possess:

• A bachelor's degree or higher level of education, in art education or related field.
• PA art or technology education certification, or the ability to obtain private teaching certification.

Required Skills/Abilities for this role:

• Desire to teach secondary school-aged students and ability to adapt to their developmental status.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The capacity to work effectively both independently and with a team.
