Program Assistant

Remote | Part Time | Flexible Hours - 10 hours per week

This position will be based in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area in order to reliably provide local support as needed.

Pay: $15 - $19/hour (Based on experience)

The PA Masonic Youth Foundation, part of Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania at our Elizabethtown Campus - is immediately hiring a Program Assistant.

The Pennsylvania Masonic Youth Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the development of leadership and character among the youth of Pennsylvania. Since 1982, the foundation has provided a continuing expansion of resources, training, scholarships, and leadership to educational institutions and youth organizations across the commonwealth.

The Mission of the Pennsylvania Masonic Youth Foundation is to lead the Masonic Fraternity in providing services on behalf of young people, and training for adults who work for the betterment of youth.

To accomplish this Mission, the Foundation will enhance the programs of the Masonic Youth Groups, support initiatives to keep children safe from violence, abuse and exploitation, and provide specialized education for adults who offer leadership to youth in the Commonwealth.

As a Program Assistant, you will carry out our Mission of Love by performing administrative and activity support services for the Pennsylvania Masonic Youth Foundation.

• Assist, in a professional manner, with the completion of basic clerical functions including but not limited to filing, copying, mailings and scanning.
• Greet visitors and answer incoming telephone calls in a polite and professional manner, recording and delivering messages.
• Provide administrative support including but not not:
  Outlook mail, appointments, event calendar, meetings and maintain database.
• Work on special projects and programs related to the overall enhancement of quality services provided by the Pennsylvania Masonic Youth Foundation.
• Maintain the confidence of those we serve and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

• Display a willingness to learn and engage in ongoing professional development focused on the essential functions and professional competencies.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have current child protection clearances required by law or willing to get upon hire.
• Must possess basic computer skills for data entry, internet research and Microsoft Office application
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
