Elementary School Administrative Assistant Attendance

This position is a full-time 10-month position. This position is responsible for building attendance and assisting with the organization and operation of the school office using all accepted clerical and technical skills including, but not limited to, answering phones, greeting families and students, handling correspondence, typing, filing, bookkeeping, and record keeping. The major goal of the position is to facilitate the flow of communications through the office and .

• The position requires an understanding of the processes and procedures of the elementary school office.
• A high school diploma or the equivalent plus 3 years of experience in related business is necessary.
• Requires submission of pre-employment medical examination.
• Requires original certificates of clearance for the following three background checks:
• Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance
• Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check
• Federal Criminal History Record Information (CHRI)
