Sr. Test Engineer Zelienople

Our client, a leader in the innovation of radiation imaging technology, is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Test Engineer to advance their product testing capabilities. This crucial role involves developing sophisticated testing methodologies to ensure the highest quality in detectors and printed circuit board assemblies utilized in cutting-edge radiation imaging devices.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and refine a comprehensive test methodology appropriate for detectors and printed circuit board assemblies, ensuring reliable manufacturing of radiation imaging detectors.
• Design, construct, and sustain both electrical and mechanical test fixtures.
• Innovate and standardize processes for automated testing to boost repeatability and efficiency.
• Formulate detailed procedures and conduct training for operators on various test equipment.
• Develop advanced hardware test diagnostics for PCBA's and Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) detectors.
• Implement and oversee the verification process for test and measurement equipment to ensure strict compliance.
• Meticulously document and report on test setups, plans, and results to maintain transparency and enhance process improvement.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a test engineering role, preferably within a similar industry.
• Demonstrated experience in enhancing PCBA's and radiation detector devices, leveraging data-driven tools for strategic decision-making.
• Proven leadership skills with a keen ability to drive product improvement initiatives within a collaborative team setting.
• Strong background in analytical, technical, and systematic problem-solving.
• Proficiency in employing methodical problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence change and motivate others.
• Autonomous and proactive, with a penchant for driving change.
• Comfortable operating within an ISO 9001 framework.
• Capability to mentor and guide less experienced test engineers.
• Adept at working cross-functionally with operations, R&D, and engineering management teams.
