Engineering Manager

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or aerospace; HVAC experience is a plus
• Experience managing small teams preferred
• BA degree strongly preferred (mechanical engineering ideal), but experience takes priority
• Comfort interpreting technical drawings and performing R&D work
• Familiarity with CAD, Anvil software, and Excel for calculations
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with floor staff and engineers alike
• Even-keeled, open to feedback, and able to balance technical oversight with team management

• Lead and mentor two drafters while ensuring accurate and efficient product design
• Review and approve designs, ensuring compliance with certifications and client specifications
• Support R&D and product development initiatives before market release
• Identify opportunities for lean manufacturing and process improvements on the floor
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding product specifications and performance
• Ensure quality and accuracy in calculations, materials, and final reviews
• Balance day-to-day oversight of engineering with long-term departmental goals
