Key responsibilities

• Maintenance of Plant & machinery as per SOP.
• To take care of day to day engineering activities (like routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, modification) in plant & utilities.
• Operation & Maintenance of utility systems (like HVAC, Water System, Refrigeration system, Air compressor, PSA nitrogen, Cooling Tower, Boiler, DG sets etc.) as per SOP.
• Planning & monitoring the regular activity of calibration.
• To keep close check on jobs being executed.
• To plan and execute various engineering projects.
• To discuss with vendors, suppliers, contractors, regarding various requirements.
• To assist in negotiation of contracts.
• Compliance to safety Procedures, cGMP & SOP’s.
• To maintain discipline, moral and harmonious industrial relations.
• To ensure adequate safety in plant is maintained while working.
• To plan and ensure proper training program for all employees.
• To participate in vendor, regulatory and internal audit.
• Coordination of interdepartmental activities with colleagues.
• To maintain the documents of maintenance work as per the requirement.
• To attend all the training related to the job role.
• Revenue & Capex Budget preparation, tracking, optimization, control and complete utilization.
• Preparation & Execution of HVAC & utility qualification activity of plant & machinery.
• Preparation & Execution of Electrical, HVAC, Cold rooms, Civil etc. Preventive maintenance, shutdown maintenance, schedule & compliance activity of plant & machinery.
• To carry out the change control, unplanned & planned deviation, CAPA review report, document retention. Audit response, review of SOPs.
• To provide engineering support for equipment qualification of plant & machinery.
• Initialization, Control and monitoring of the engineering critical spares.
• Co‑ordination & follow‑up with purchase department, supplier for procurement of spares, maintain inventory & service related to maintenance & projects.
• To attend & review the routine maintenance activities of Civil, Electrical, Instrument, Utility.
• To ensure housekeeping in respective areas.
• To ensure proper measurement and certification of contractor bills.
