Summary Of The Role
You’ll take ownership of all electrical systems, power distribution, automation, and energy management programs—ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. In this role, you’ll lead preventive and corrective maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and maximize production uptime while managing a high-performing team.
What You’ll Do- Supervise, plan, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment (HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, VFDs, PLCs, SCADA).
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all plant equipment and utilities.
- Resolve electrical issues in real time to minimize downtime.
- Lead electrical aspects of new equipment installations, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to meet timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption and implement energy‑saving initiatives.
- Manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
- Maintain accurate documentation (SLDs, maintenance logs, SOPs, compliance reports).
- Prepare and present reports on equipment performance, downtime analysis, and project status.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in manufacturing or tire production.
- Technical expertise in HT/LT systems, drives, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with automation systems and PLC programming (Rockwell Automation).
- Hands‑on experience with tire-specific manufacturing equipment (Banbury mixers, curing presses, calendars).
- Ability to lead complex projects and deliver results under pressure.
