The Product Engineer for connector Mezzanine Products will be responsible for derivative design, customer application support, verification and qualification, and supporting new business opportunities. This role will serve as the key product engineering representative in the manufacturing plant to support manufacturing, component, documentation, and quality issues as they arise. The position will work as part of a global cross‑functional team and include customer interaction.

• Review product drawings and tolerancing to ensure product performance requirements are met.
• Develop innovative product solutions.
• Utilize 3D CAD software to develop designs.
• Prepare samples for study.
• Collect, record, and analyze data.
• Develop and review product performance specifications.
• Provide suggestions during incident investigations.
• Advise on corrective actions.
• Work with manufacturing engineers to develop a cost‑effective and working production process.
• Ensure projects are completed on time.
• Ensure designs are cost effective.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in 3D modeling using Solid Works.
• General understanding of drawing standards such as ASME Y14.5.
• General understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to communicate well with global customers and all levels of the organization including management, marketing, sales, process engineering, test lab personnel, and other engineers.
• Ability to prioritize, work to meet objectives, and manage multiple activities/projects simultaneously.

This position requires access to controlled technology that is subject to U.S. export controls. Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Person (including U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) or eligible to obtain required authorization(s) from the U.S. Government.
