Quality & Process Engineer – EV / Automotive Sector

Customer-Facing Role

Join a forward-thinking manufacturing leader driving innovation in electric vehicle (EV) and automotive systems. We’re hiring a Customer Quality & Process Engineer to champion quality performance, lead root cause investigations, and support continuous improvement—internally and directly with our customers.

You’ll play a vital technical liaison role, supporting product and process excellence from plant to customer floor. This is a problem‑solving, data‑driven opportunity ideal for engineers passionate about quality, process reliability, and making an impact in a highly collaborative, customer‑focused environment.

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

What You’ll Do:
  • Partner with customers to troubleshoot product/process issues and implement corrective actions
  • Lead root cause analysis & apply quality tools (8D, 5-Why, FMEA, etc.)
  • Analyze trends using quality data to reduce defects & drive consistency
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, Customer Reps)
  • Improve and document quality procedures & support IATF 16949 compliance
  • Travel up to 50% to customer sites for audits, process reviews, and support initiatives
  • Champion continuous improvement & ensure product meets EV/automotive quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
  • ✅ Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field
  • ✅ 5+ years in a customer‑facing engineering or quality role
  • ✅ Hands‑on experience with quality systems (PPAP, APQP, IATF 16949 preferred)
  • ✅ Strong communicator with technical curiosity and problem‑solving drive
  • ✅ Comfortable working in fast‑paced, hands‑on environments with diverse teams
  • ✅ Proficient in MS Office;
    Mini Tab or statistical software a plus
  • ✅ Automotive and/or EV experience highly desirable
