Your MissionEnsure on time implementation of new compounds in our manufacturing landscape in Vietnam, Indonesia and China Evaluate raw material source (lead time, supply chain, quality and cost) of existing and new compounds to ensure production feasibility.
Audit suppliers to ensure our compound SOPs are applied at any time.
Manage problem solving for existing and new production related to compounding and chemical.
Support quality team in the manufacturing process audit, to ensure the right compound & chemicals are being used with the right process.
Support costing team in compound costing negotiation.
5 years or more of experience in compound development
Polymer science degree Bachelor minimum
A willingness to travel (Within Vietnam, Indonesia and occasionally Switzerland)
Fluent in English, other languages such as Mandarin and Vietnamese are a plus Strong experience with chemical foaming, supercritical foaming, rubber compounds.
The Innovation team is responsible for On’s future products, out-of-the-box thinking and athlete-informed technology that differentiates On’s products in the market. Within the Innovation team you will join the Polymer Science and Engineering team which is focused on polymer and compound development with a scope covering long term innovation to inline production. You will have the opportunity to be part of an agile and interdisciplinary department of engineers and scientists.
