Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d) Your Responsibilities:
  • Translate commercial objectives into concrete actions to ensure revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify market opportunities and optimize the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers at all organizational levels (executive, operations, engineering, purchasing, maintenance, finance).
  • Evaluate incoming inquiries, prepare quotations, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Update prices and delivery times for budgets and quotations.
  • Monitor market and international developments and provide structured reporting (monthly/quarterly).
  • Manage the initial application evaluation, equipment pre-qualification and selection; calculate costs, prices, and prepare proposals.
  • Coordinate order transfer to technical teams in Netherland and worldwide, and support project execution from order to start-up.
  • Handle technical issues in collaboration with service consultants and manufacturers.
  • Keep administration and sales KPIs up to date using CRM and ERP systems.
What We Expect:
  • Higher professional education (technical or commercial) with several years of experience and affinity for technology.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convince without exaggeration – sincerity and reliability are your strengths.
  • Customer focus is in your DNA: you are presentable and communicate clearly.
  • Structured and accurate work attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM and/or ERP systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and visualize details in three dimensions;
    AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Good command of Dutch and English (spoken and written);
    German is a definite advantage.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10–30%).
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in technical sales or related industries (bulk material handling, equipment/system sales, maintenance, services).
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment and installation principles.
  • Familiarity with cement, minerals, metallurgy, power, or fertilizer industries.
