Key QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field;
Master’s preferred.
Experience: 2–20 years of engineering experience, including significant work with avionics sub‑systems and FAA certification processes.
Industry Standards: Working knowledge of ARP 4754, ARP‑4761, DO‑178, DO‑160, DO‑254, MIL‑STD‑704, and MIL‑STD‑461.
Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in requirements development, systems architecture, verification, and validation.
Tools: Hands‑on experience with IBM Rational DOORS and related test equipment.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Additional
Skills:
Background in systems testing, electrical sub‑systems, and networked systems; INCOSE certification is a plus.
