We have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer at our manufacturing facility located in Fremont, IN.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Advise on provisions to minimize quality issues
  • Develop and implement required quality documents
  • Perform regular process audits
  • Drive root cause and corrective actions — must own and lead the quality process
  • Work with Engineering and Production to address any internal quality concerns and corrective actions
  • Prioritize quality improvement activities
  • Utilize quality improvement training, activities, and policies
  • Manage all documentation and reporting requirements for the quality system
  • Develop performance improvement targets for quality
  • Conduct customer surveys to solicit feedback
  • Perform statistical analysis and data analysis
  • Perform gauge calibration, product testing, and maintain records
  • Participate in quality audits
  • Demonstrate hands‑on mechanical capabilities, problem solving, leadership, conflict management, and team‑building skills in a productive team environment
  • Develop reports of product conformance
Qualifications

Education

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or a related field and 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in high‑volume metal fabrication (e.g., forming, cutting, and welding).
