Your ImpactAt WNA Engineering, the ideal candidate will have experience and a good understanding of the architecture, engineering and construction industry to effectively understand how to execute our vision and mission. As the CAD & BIM Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, and will assist and support the Survey team in all assigned projects. The CAD & BIM Technician will report to the Survey Team Manager.
CAD& BIM Technician Responsibilities
- Communicate and coordinate daily with the Team Manager, Principal in Charge (PIC), and team members upon receipt of assigned project(s)
- Review and understand assigned project and requirements
- Manage drafting tasks and workload to fulfill project needs
- Aides in researching and implementing new CAD related software
- Follow project execution and submission protocols
- Manage and prioritize personal workload
- Contribute to and support the overall development of WNA and the department
- Proficient in current versions of AutoCAD and Revit software
- Working knowledge base of Building Construction concepts, Architectural components, and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt learned skills and standards to various types of projects
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- High level understanding of confidentiality, integrity and awareness of self-capabilities
