Amentum Technology Inc. (Amentum) delivers safe and innovative solutions to clients at nuclear cleanup and production sites. Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, engineering, and construction. We are executing many contracts, one of which is near the Idaho Falls area.

We are looking for a Team‑Oriented Subcontract Administrator with a working knowledge of Federal Construction Contracting and procurement requirements. Join a team of Contracts and Procurement Professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service to our government client in the Idaho Falls, .

• Perform subcontracting or paralegal functions in support of construction, mechanical equipment, excavation, general services, and related activities in the Federal Contracting environment.
• Execute assignments of varying scope and moderate complexity following established policies and procedures.
• Work in a team environment with shifting priorities, including extended hours as needed and approved to support project schedules.
• Manage cradle‑to‑grave procurement administration of federal and/or commercial construction related procurement actions under senior guidance—review requisitions, prepare RFPs, conduct bid abstracts, negotiate, prepare purchase orders, subcontracts, and administer complex service‑type subcontracts.
• Be proactive and forward‑looking when developing and administering subcontracts.
• Support proposal preparation activities to clients under senior oversight.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
• USA citizenship required.
• Above‑average writing skills—logical and succinct.
• Strong computer skills:
  Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook.
• Contracts experience.

• Familiarity with federal and commercial procurement guidelines and regulations.
• Industrial construction experience.
• Some paralegal experience.
• Experience administering large complex Federal Construction type contracts.
• Previous legal contracts experience.
• Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) experience.

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting limited to 20 lbs. (supply, drawings, etc.). Longest distance carried is 50 ft. Requires hand manipulation for simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. Must be alert to field equipment, occasional travel, work near construction job site equipment, and occasional need to work near hazardous equipment or machinery. Exposure to dust, gas or fumes, noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work ject location approximately 55 miles from Idaho Falls.
