Join an innovative team supporting Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions. As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer on the Inspection Technology team, you will help develop remote delivery systems to perform non‑destructive examination in the commercial nuclear market. You will report to the Manager of Inspection Technology and will be based at our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. This mobile position is expected to be on site 2‑3 days per week.

• Executing project engineering functions to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Preparing design reports and technical specifications.
• Perform hand calculations and apply design‑by‑rule formulae.
• Perform design activities in accordance with the design process, including cost estimating, functional/specifications, detailed design with calculations, tooling concepts, design reviews, manufacturing drawings, fabrication/assembly qualification, and training of personnel.
• Creating and revising procedures/drawings to support design or field activities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and functionally test electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Become proficient with software used to perform inspection activities at nuclear plant sites.
• Interface regularly with vendors and internal functional groups at engineering level to obtain necessary information.
• Identify and recommend improvements in processes and assist in implementation.
• Support field implementation and troubleshooting of equipment used for inspections at nuclear plant sites.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in nuclear power plant and knowledge of nuclear industry requirements (desirable).
• Knowledge of non‑destructive examination techniques (desirable).
• Knowledge of robotics, multi‑axis scanners, and control systems.

Base salary range: $85,200.00 to $ per year.
