Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates to support engineering teams in the product development process for new project initiatives, architecture development, and cost-reduction actions for the current production.

As a System Performance Modelling Engineer, you'll design, simulate, and validate detailed dynamic models of complex systems for Dishwashers, Laundry, and Cooking appliances using Dymola and the Modelica ecosystem.

• Model development for appliance subsystems (Dishwasher, Laundry, Cooking)
  • Dishwashers:
    Thermal and energy modelling including washing cycles, spray flow dynamics, and energy use.
  • Laundry products:
    Washing cycles, motor/pump energy use, and heat transfer for drying (where applicable).
  • Cooking appliances:
    Energy transfer and heating modelling of ovens and cooktops using thermal system components.
• Model calibration and validation:
  Validate simulation results against experimental data.
• Optimization:
  Use model‑based optimization methods to improve product attributes such as energy usage, cleaning performance, and drying performance, and perform multivariate calculations.
• Simulation workflows:
  Use scripting (Python) to automate parameter sweeps, post‑processing, and performance reporting.
• Leverage FMI for integration of models into co‑simulation environments or control systems.
• Knowledge sharing & documentation:
  Document model assumptions, structure, validation results, and provide clear technical communication across teams. Prepare and present results in the form of slides.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong communication with design, CAD, preprocessing, and lab personnel and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

• Master’s or equivalent in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Thermal, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar.
• Proven 2–3 years experience in Dymola, Modelica, and systems modelling.
• Familiarity with FMI standards, model calibration, and optimisation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
• Exposure to software like Mode Frontier.
• Strong foundation in numerical methods, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, or control theory as relevant.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; fluent in English.
• Collaboration skills and a self‑reliant, solution‑oriented approach.

• 2 or more years of experience using tools such as Dymola, MATLAB, ANSYS Fluent.
• CFD simulation of turbulent fluid flow, convective heat transfer, and pumps.
• Industry experience in automotive, aerospace, HVAC, or similar high‑complexity fields.
• PTC Creo modelling experience.
• English language skills – fluency.
