What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Perform property risk control and underwriting surveys for various clients across different industries
  • Advise clients on hazard control measures to reduce or prevent losses and influence the implementation of recommendations
  • Provide technical support and guidance on fire protection and loss prevention to global manufacturing plants and offices
  • Review architectural and engineering plans for fire protection systems and provide detailed feedback
  • Investigate fire losses and prepare written reports or presentations detailing findings
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Highly Protected Risk engineering or consulting
  • Experience in a consulting role with an HPR Property Insurance Company
  • Proficient in understanding and applying NFPA and/or FM Global standards
  • Must be physically fit and able to access various building areas during surveys
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Familiarity with Assembly of Construction, Occupancy, Protection, and Exposure (COPE) Data
  • Past experience assessing high hazard occupancies such as flammable liquids and combustible dusts
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-sufficient and organized
