This Position reports to:

Project Manager

ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid. The Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry and infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage transmission systems and low-voltage users. With ABB Ability™ enabled connected solutions at its core, the offering includes medium-voltage air- and gas-insulated switch gear (1 to 66 kilovolts), indoor and outdoor circuit breakers, reclosers, fuses, contractors, relays, instrument transformers, sensors, motor control centers, as well as low-voltage switch gear for the ANSI standard markets.

• Coordinate all operational activities related to project execution.
• Monitor budgets, including cost control, profitability, and guarantees.
• Plan and track project timelines to meet deadlines.
• Ensure safety compliance throughout project implementation.
• Maintain close communication with ABB factories and adjust plans as needed.
• Manage project documentation and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
• Maintain strong technical-commercial relationships with customers to support satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
• Lead and motivate the project team, including engineers and subcontractors, and oversee site activities during commissioning.

• Higher technical education in Electrical or Energy Technology.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager in electrical engineering, preferably in medium or low voltage.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and coordination with vendors or sub‑contractors.
• Collaborative and solution‑oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
• Experience in site management.
