Role:
Engineer III supporting manufacturing operations at Bayer’s Myerstown, PA facility, focusing on process optimization and equipment upgrades within a GMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities:Develop engineering solutions for production efficiency, audit vendors and contractors, prepare specifications and drawings, manage capital investments, and apply methodologies like PDCA, DMAIC, 5S, Gemba Walks, and Kaizen to identify root causes of production and quality issues. Utilize Power BI for KPI dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines, budgets, and process improvements.
Requirements:Master’s in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related), 2+ years in manufacturing/packaging, experience leading GMP engineering projects, proficiency in process analysis and Lean tools. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ progressive experience is acceptable.
High Value:GMP manufacturing, oral solid dosage, process optimization, capital project management, use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, cross-functional collaboration, experience with automation and industrial systems.
Work Setup:Onsite Myerstown, PA; salary range $110K–$125K plus benefits; travel not specified.
