Agricultural Equipment Design Engineer

At Esch Manufacturing, we build agricultural no-till drills and the Legendare line of wildlife food plot equipment. Help turn innovative ideas into dependable machines that are straightforward to operate, easy to maintain, and built to serve customers for years.

What you’ll do:

• Create CAD models, production drawings, and parts lists.
• Perform engineering calculations to support safe, reliable designs.
• Develop new equipment and improve existing machines.
• Design with durability, manufacturing cost, service access, and ease of operation in mind.
• Collaborate with our entire team, including shop fabricators, to develop and build rugged equipment with innovative, practical features.

• A foundation in CAD modeling and drawing preparation.
• Practical mechanical understanding and an interest in equipment design.
• Careful attention to dimensions, fit, function, and workmanship.
• A teachable attitude and a willingness to listen, share ideas, and work cooperatively.

We prefer an experienced CAD designer who can contribute with limited guidance. We’re also willing to train the right candidate who has basic CAD training, practical mechanical understanding, and a teachable attitude.
