Junior Controller

Targets of the position:

The (Junior) Controller of R&D GAM Switzerland will be responsible for operationally running the monthly and quarterly financial closing for the dedicated reporting unit, including monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and forecasting incl. system uploads (SAC, FiPS, BCS), intercompany alignments and invoicing for cross-charges in both directions, as well as financial valuations for new project approvals & portfolio reviews for the project pipeline. This position will further act as back-up and in a supporting function for the BU Pharma’s trading Hub at FK SBS, as well as for the trading Hubs in US, Germany and Norway, including monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and forecasting incl.

system uploads (SAC, BCS, FK GAN).

The (Junior) Controller will interact with the Controlling Team of GAM, various departments in the BU Pharma and Corporate Finance & Controlling Teams.

Job holder reports to Senior Director Controlling Global Alliance Management.

• GAM Financial planning and (monthly/quarterly/yearly) closing activities,

• GAM project cost Controlling - Coordination of FiPS,

• Cost Center Controlling in FK SBS,

• Cost tracking on project and non-project cost (ACT vs FC),

• Personnel Cost Planning,

• Intercompany invoicing and Manual bookings,

• Alignment with SBS internal departments (Alliance Management, Business development, Finance and Controlling, HR, Hotel keeper),

• Alignment with FK internal departments located in US, Germany and Canada mainly for month-end closing and forecasting.

• Support various departments in special analyses,

Guide Alliance Management and Business Development in financial topics on projects.

• Act as backup for the controlling team (CH, US, Germany).

• Interface function to all relevant Fresenius employees globally.

• Business partners (CMOs).

• Consulting companies.
