What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Provide qualitative and technical support in product development, financial analysis, and actuarial research
  • Conduct actuarial analyses and ensure timely delivery of quality work to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships within and outside the department through collaborative projects
  • Engage in recruitment and mentorship of junior actuaries
  • Recommend procedural changes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in the market
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an actuarial or analytics role
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage technology for innovative solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to various audiences
  • Willingness to pursue further professional development and actuarial credentials
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 2-5 years of experience in an Actuarial or Analytics department, preferably with aviation experience
  • Completion of 4+ casualty actuarial exams
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative fields
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and actuarial techniques
  • Familiarity with software such as SAS and R, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
