Seasonal Business Tax Expert – Intuit

• Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information responsibly.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver the right answer to customers in everyday language.
• Interact with customers through video communication software, documenting all interactions accurately.
• Engage with customers and team members in a professional manner while upholding Intuit’s operating values, including “integrity without compromise.”

• At least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
• Strong customer service skills for video and audio interactions.
• Proficiency with technology, solid computer operations, and software use.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid PTIN and willingness to obtain any necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.

Intuit provides a competitive pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. Expected base pay ranges:

• Bay Area, CA: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
• Southern California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
• Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
• Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
• Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
• Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
• Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
• Minnesota: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
• New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
• New York: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
• Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
• Vermont: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
• Washington: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
• Washington DC: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
