Responsible for opening, maintaining and closing various types of bank accounts, generating referrals, processing teller transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

• Run a teller cash drawer to cover the daily needs of the branch staffing model.
• Exercise authority to sign official checks, not to exceed $50,000 and complete teller overrides.
• Accept and process savings, checking, holiday savings accounts, loan payments, safe deposit box rentals, tax deposits, and withdrawals.
• Accept checks for cashing according to FNB check handling procedures.
• Sell money orders, official checks, and collect applicable fees.
• Ensure teller balances daily and assist in locating and reporting differences.
• Create a work environment conducive to superior customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain the appearance of the teller area and personnel per bank policy.
• Handle vault cash under dual control, including vault transactions, cash orders, audits, and proper strapping and dating of currency denominations to the Federal Reserve.
• Secure negotiable instruments, safe deposit box records, and confidential records; assist customers with safe deposit box rentals.
• Ensure dual control policies are known and followed by all staff.
• Open and close the branch following proper security procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of daily branch, vault, and ATM operations.
• Achieve personal and team daily sales referral goals; coach tellers on sales techniques.
• Coordinate with branch manager regarding sales and service operations.
• Use effective communication skills to educate staff on policy changes and new products.
• Exercise sound judgment in resolving client and employee issues.
• Cross‑sell bank products and recognize opportunities for additional products and services.
• Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective clients.
• Open new accounts, complete account maintenance, and discuss available services.
• Prepare new account documents accurately and promptly.
• Serve as a Notary if credentialed.
• Complete all operational duties required weekly, monthly, and quarterly as per bank policy.
• Complete mandatory and elective training, including BSA and Anti‑Money Laundering procedures, maintaining compliance.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year retail banking experience, including cash handling.
• Previous supervisory and sales experience preferred.

• Below‑average teller with ability to accept and give instructions, reason, problem‑solve, and oversee others.
• Ability to prepare a cash order/manifest.
