Position Summary

The Financial Advisor is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining a portfolio of investment clients while delivering exceptional client service. This role partners closely with bank personnel to identify opportunities, cultivate referral relationships, and provide comprehensive wealth management solutions tailored to client needs.

The Financial Advisor serves as a trusted advisor by evaluating clients' financial objectives, recommending suitable investment and insurance products, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements.

  • Develop and maintain a strong book of business through proactive client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Analyze client financial needs, goals, assets, income, investments, and risk tolerance to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Educate clients on investment, retirement, insurance, and wealth management solutions, including associated risks and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external referral networks.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through referrals to appropriate bank products and services.
  • Meet business development, production, and growth goals established by MCS Financial Advisors and the Bank.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients through regular reviews and follow-up consultations.
  • Ensure all investment and insurance activities comply with applicable regulations, supervisory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Maintain all required licenses, registrations, and continuing education requirements.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience through professionalism, responsiveness, and accuracy.
  • Assist in implementing branch and department goals consistent with the Bank's strategic and operating plans.
  • Participate in community organizations, networking events, and outreach activities that positively represent the Bank.
  • Prepare reports and communicate effectively with leadership and other stakeholders as required.
  • Adhere to all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to BSA, CRA, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and records in accordance with regulatory and supervisory expectations.
  • Support internal and external audits, examinations, and regulatory reviews as needed.
  • Foster a workplace that is free from harassment, discrimination, and other inappropriate conduct.
Requirements

Qualifications

Required

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in financial services, banking, insurance, investments, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, or sales.
Required Licenses
  • FINRA Series 63 License
  • FINRA Series 6 License
  • Pennsylvania Insurance Producer License (Life, Accident & Health)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Series 7 and Series 66 licenses preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will be considered.
